It was a glorious day for the 9 LBOYB ladies who rode in the 65km Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road, People’s ride today. After hearing of the hills in the 111km from the pro riders at the introductions the night before, the girls were somewhat concerned. No need to have worried the girls thought the 65km was ‘a piece of cake’ and are keen to try the 111km next year! Go girls!
Wonderful race by Annemiek van Vleuten who took the win at the 2017 women’s Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race for Orica-Scott
And whilst that was happening in Geelong, back in Elwood, Ladies Back On Your Bike was teaching ladies, who have never, ever learnt to ride. This is a big buzz for both the Ladies back On Your bike instructor and the lady!
How fabulous to have learnt to ride, to now enjoy the fun and freedom of cycling! If you’d like to learn to ride, contact Lou at admin@ladiesbackonyourbike.com.au
