LBOYB member, Linda Spencer, won first prize at the Collins Street Baptist Church Feast, Pray, Love – Living Water Art Exhibition, with her 4kg bronze statue “Business Lunch.”

Linda’s piece is part of her extended work on business men and was pleased to enter it into the exhibition as it really spoke to the theme of the event.

“Living water…with the man diving, holding and pouring liquid from a bottle into a cup. Water influences my work a great deal and I came up with this concept while eating in a restaurant,” said Linda.

“It was the hardest bronze piece I’ve made and so it has great value to me. A lot of time, energy and effort has gone into it. It’s hard work but pleasurable once it’s finished.”

The free exhibition is open at Collins St Baptist Church ( just up from the Town Hall) 9 till 3pm Sunday.
